Many ideas.
One shared village.

One olive grove. Several connections.
An illustrative example of how the proposed roles could work together.
Za Ljubač
Bring people and land together
The association would coordinate a land-use agreement and the people caring for the grove.
Volunteering & agriculture
Restore and care for the grove
Local contributors and visiting participants could clear the ground and care for the trees.
Ljubač Sport
Connect the grove with activity
Nearby routes could support walking, running or sport, where access is agreed.
Visit Ljubač & Ljulje

Visit Ljubač could handle tourism services. A qualifying producer could sell oil using the Ljulje brand.

Starting pointZa Ljubač initiative
Informal community work already underway.
- Its job
- People contributing to Ljubač before there is a formal association. The conversation refers to previous road work, donations and dry-stone-wall projects.
- How it connects
- That existing effort is the starting point for the proposed Za Ljubač association.
- What is still to settle
- Past work should be documented separately from the new organisation’s future activities.
Organisation in formationZa Ljubač association
The formal home for the community effort.
- Its job
- Bring members and contributors together, coordinate projects and arrange land management through agreements. Anđelko proposes leadership and voting rules that recognise contributions.
- How it connects
- Ljubač Sport and the planned areas of work sit within this wider effort. Visit Ljubač would handle commercial tourism services alongside it.
- What is still to settle
- Registration, final membership rules, voting rights and land agreements are not established by this conversation.
Commercial tourism operatorVisit Ljubač
Accommodation bookings and guest services.
- Its job
- Promote the destination and provide the commercial side of tourism: accommodation listings, guest handling and related services.
- How it connects
- Works alongside the community effort. Accommodation owners would contract with the tourism operator for its services.
- What is still to settle
- The proposal does not establish the company’s legal relationship with the association or its service terms.
Year-round strategyLjubač 365
Help the village live throughout the year.
- Its job
- Connect agriculture, time in nature, sport and visits beyond the summer season.
- How it connects
- Provides a shared purpose for the association’s different activities. One restored grove could support several of them.
- What is still to settle
- A strategic aim does not establish a year-round calendar or services already operating.
Long-term planningLjubač Vision 2030
The wider future direction for Ljubač.
- Its job
- The planning material Anđelko shared for the village’s future.
- How it connects
- Offers context for the wider vision. He does not clearly separate it from Ljubač 365 or define a hierarchy between them.
- What is still to settle
- The exact relationship to Ljubač 365 and any delivery commitments remain to be clarified.
Sport initiativeLjubač Sport
Races and everyday sport.
- Its job
- Connect sport with village life and nature, including competitions and everyday activity.
- How it connects
- An initiative within Za Ljubač. The Olympic Village is one proposed project, while individual races are separate activities.
- What is still to settle
- An event’s organiser, dates and participation details need their own confirmation.
Planned area of workLand & agriculture
Olive groves and the people who farm them.
- Its job
- Support care for neglected groves and discuss agreements that let people work land over the long term.
- How it connects
- Connects with volunteering, routes through nature and the proposed Ljulje oil brand. Farming businesses would produce and sell the oil.
- What is still to settle
- Available parcels, permissions, eligibility and contract terms need agreement. Land use does not imply ownership.
Planned areas of workCommunity & culture
Volunteering and shared village projects.
- Its job
- Create ways for local people, contributors and people with roots in Ljubač to take part. Culture and entrepreneurship are also planned areas.
- How it connects
- Provides people and ideas for land care and other village projects. These areas are grouped on the map for readability.
- What is still to settle
- Participation arrangements, projects and responsibility for each area need to be agreed.
Planned area of workInternational projects
Welcome ideas and effort from elsewhere.
- Its job
- Explore international projects and invite Erasmus students to contribute their time and energy in Ljubač.
- How it connects
- Participants could join local work rather than form a separate organisation.
- What is still to settle
- The invitation does not confirm an Erasmus partnership, admission process, accommodation or a funded programme.
Proposed sport projectLjubač Olympic Village
Different ways for Olympians to take part.
- Its job
- A project idea involving Olympians through visits, support or participation in land and grove projects.
- How it connects
- Sits within the sport vision. Ljubač Sport is the broader initiative. The Olympic Village is one possible project.
- What is still to settle
- The name does not confirm a built village, accommodation development or athlete commitments.
Proposed product brandLjulje
A shared name for Ljubač olive oil.
- Its job
- Promote oil produced in Ljubač under a shared brand, used by producers meeting an agreed minimum standard.
- How it connects
- The association would promote the brand. Individual farming businesses would produce and sell the oil.
- What is still to settle
- Brand standards, participating producers and permission to use the name still need to be established.
Ideas for discussion
Two ideas still open for discussion.
The zipline and air bike were presented as options to discuss with local people. They are possible projects, rather than confirmed attractions.
The distinctions that matter
Initiative or association?
The original Za Ljubač initiative describes the people and work already underway. The planned association gives that effort a formal organisation. Ljubač Sport is also called an initiative, but it sits within the wider Za Ljubač effort.
Where does Visit Ljubač fit?
Za Ljubač is the community organisation in the proposal. Visit Ljubač is the commercial tourism operator. An accommodation owner would contract with the tourism company for guest services and listings. The map shows cooperation, without assuming that one legally owns the other.
Is an association the same as a foundation?
Anđelko describes Za Ljubač as an association, using the Croatian word udruga. He does not describe a foundation. This page follows his terminology.
How do Ljubač 365 and Vision 2030 differ?
Ljubač 365 has a clear purpose in the conversation: activity and village life all year. Vision 2030 is the longer-term planning material he shared. Their precise relationship remains to be clarified.

This page explains the proposal discussed on 2 October 2026. Association registration, project participation, land terms and brand standards need confirmation before they become offers.
